When we talk about the living suits, there is probably nothing better than Venom. After his 1988 debut, Venom has become popular among Marvel fans. It later witnessed scores of offshoots and “children” get linked to it. Although Venom is undoubtedly powerful, there are numerous Venom offshoots that have beaten it, and there are various other sentient suits that can defeat a symbiote like Venom.

Having said that, Venom is the original and among the most popular comic book villains, and there are not too many stories where he got defeated. He might lose a fight, but, would always hit back and exact revenge. Here we present some living suits which are stronger than Venom.

1. CARNAGE

Carnage is the first Venom offspring who came into existence during a jailbreak. Venom was escaping through a huge hole in the wall when a fraction of his symbiote remained behind to merge with Cletus Cassidy. Sadly, Cassidy was a demented, murderous man, which made him far more dangerous, unpredictable and violent than Venom. The coming together of Cassidy and the symbiote was deadlier than the bond between Venom and Eddie Brock.

In his first scene, he was so strong that Spider-Man couldn’t handle him. To defeat Carnage, Spidey was compelled to join hands with Venom, and they managed to defeat him. However, Carnage later came back to cause more mayhem.

2. IRON MAN SENTIENT ARMOR

We don’t doubt the strength of Iron-Man’s armor, and with the right kind of accessories and weapons, he would be able to get rid of Venom (it is not such a big deal to install a sonic weapon). Usually, his armor won’t be a part of a list comprising of sentient suits, but, on one occasion his armor had attained sentience. The armor became independent after a lightning storm and a battle with whiplash which caused a life-threatening heart attack for Tony.

The Armor tried merging with Tony, but, that didn’t go well with the Avengers. During the battle of the armor with its host, Tony had another heart attack. To save his life, the armor tore out its own heart and perished saving Stark’s life.

3. ANTI-VENOM

After Eddie Brock separated with the Venom symbiote, it merged with Max Gargan, also known as Scorpion. Brock used to work in a soup kitchen and suffered from cancer, however, Mister Negative helped him get occurred. A tiny portion of the Venom symbiote still existed in his body, and it bonded with his white blood-cells, leading to the creation of another symbiote called Anti-Venom when Venom tried bonding again with Brock.

Anti-Venom had the same powers as Venom, but, it could also harm Venom through touch.  It is stronger to Venom because it can resist fire and sonic attacks. It was later sacrificed to save the public from Spider-Island virus.

4. KRON STONE

The Venom from the Marvel 2099 universe, Kron Stone is mutated and over a century older than the Venom in the regular Earth-616 timeline. Since it is much different and advanced from the original, it had to be ranked as a separate being from the original in this list. Kron Stone is the half-brother of Miguel O’Hara who happens to be the Spider-Man of his timeline.

These two are fathered by the same guy, Tyler Stone, but, that is the only common thing between them. Kron was almost dead when his body was thrown into a gutter. He bonded with the Venom symbiote and turned into the supervillain Kron Stone. This form of Venom had various powers such as acidic blood and venomous saliva. Further, it bonded with the host at molecular level, letting Stone alter his shape completely.

5. SPAWN

The Venom from the Marvel 2099 universe, Kron Stone is mutated and over a century older than the Venom in the regular Earth-616 timeline. Since it is much different and advanced from the original, it had to be ranked as a separate being from the original in this list. 6. RIOT

Riot was among the symbiotes that the Life Foundation had extracted from Venom and is the most violent of all. This symbiote bonded with Trevor Cole, an ex-security guard who was trained in various combat forms and weapons. After merging with him, Riot took on a form identical to Venom, but, turned out to be larger and more savage. While Riot is shown to be stronger than Venom, we will soon find it out in live-action.

By the looks of it, we think Riot will battle Eddie Brock and team in the upcoming Venom film. The character will be played by Riz Ahmed though he is also expected to play Carlton Drake, the Life Foundation’s boss. The two symbiotes are likely to fight on the big screen on October 5.

7. HYBRID

After the Life Foundation compelled the Venom symbiote to reproduce, it created several dangerous offsprings. A lot of them got destroyed later, but, four of them merged to create a being called Hybrid. The newly created symbiote then searched for Scott Washington, a physically disabled former guard who had helped them escape and bonded with him. This turned him into an incredibly powerful being since he had four symbiotes merged, and he was also able to walk again.

Washington went on to become an anti-hero whose temper was controlled by Hybrid (contrary to the usual). Ultimately, Eddie Brock took out Washington, but, the symbiotes survived. They existed separately for a while and then once again merged to create Hybrid. There was a time when they bonded with Deadpool to defeat Carnage and Shriek.
