Avengers Directors Tells How Quantum Realms Tie In Avengers 4 And Beyond

Marvel and Titan have now teamed up for releasing a collector’s edition hardcover book, in celebration the 10-year anniversary of the MCU. In this book, there are many interviews with a lot of big Marvel Studios executives and stars and even Kevin Feige himself.

Out of the many topics that Kevin Feige had touched upon, there is one that is super relevant to all the Marvel fans- how the Quantum Realm will factor into the Avengers 4 movie.

This is what Feige had said:

“At the end of Ant-Man, we followed Scott Lang into the Quantum Realm for the first time. We were beginning to peel back the onion that would later be completely peeled back in Doctor Strange as we go into the multiverse. So that was our little test into that. But now the Quantum Realm is a whole other territory that we can play with to tell our stories. This Quantum Realm is much larger than we ever imagined, and there are all sorts of adventures to be had at that level, which perhaps we will explore in another film.”

The Quantum Realm had been introduced as a “microverse,” but the movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp had hinted that it was a source of Quantum Energy as well and also a highway of travel through time, space, and also the multiverse. There are many hints that the quantum energy will factor into Captain Marvel and also, Avengers 4. The multiverse aspect element is still huge and pretty vague enough that the Quantum Realm has been speculated to be a key factor to how the Fantastic Four and the X-Men may be introduced into the MCU.

With the Quantum Realm, Marvel can reinvent the MCU, and we will see how this sci-fi plays out in the movie, Avengers 4.

Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp are now available as a digital download as well as on Blu-ray and DVD. Upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.
