The Walt Disney Company had held the “Annual Shareholder Meeting” today, and with this was an extended look at the movie, Avengers: Endgame. While the footage, or even the second trailer, has yet to make its way online, a few sites were able to get a description of this footage.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
According to a few new sources, this footage starts out with the superhero team members sitting in a room at the Avengers compound that we had seen saw in the very first teaser, and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is also present. Nebula, played by Karen Gillan then mentions that she thinks that Thanos would head to his “the garden” after snapping his fingers.
Captain Marvel then tells the team that they need to go there and use the Infinity stones for undoing everything. The video then shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Captain America (Chris Evans), Nebula, Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and War Machine (Don Cheadle) in space. Rocket is heard saying something like, “Who has never been in space before? Raise your hand.”
This footage then closes with Rocket warning all those who have not been to space to not puke in his ship.
Learning about this footage makes us think that this may actually be a second trailer as it does not reveal a lot, and leaves a huge part of the story to our imagination. We must note that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Ant-Man (Scott Lang) are absent here.
It is pretty weird that Nebula appears to be with the Avengers when we had last seen her in space with Stark. We have also seen Ant-Man in the Avengers compound, so could it be that he and Iron Man are doing some “science bro” things with Bruce Banner?
Avengers: Endgame will release on April 26th. Other upcoming Marvel Studios films include Captain Marvel on March 8th and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th.
