8 Super Awkward Moments Of Supergirl That Leave You Shocked

There have been a whole lot of incarnations of the DC character, Supergirl and she had first made an appearance in Superman #123. Having been recreated in Action Comics #252, the character has been well-known as Linda Davers, Kara Zor-El. To keep things from getting very confusing, the list will be focusing on Kara, cousin of Kal-El.

Supergirl is the most powerful person in the universe, and she also serves as a greater good for the Justice League, Red Lantern Corps and Legion of Super-Heroes. Supergirl is known to be a model citizen and a superhero and has a fun and spunky personality. In the light of all this, here we have for you 8 very awkward Supergirl images that you cannot unsee:

In Supergirl, #3, “An Outsider?”, Lex had used a Black Kryptonite ray on the character, and instead of corrupting Supergirl, her unconscious splits, and this generated a second Supergirl. Kara Zor-El II then believed that she had been sent by her father for killing Superman.

One haunting image of Supergirl shows her laying at her dark twin’s feet.

In the animated film, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, an evil version of Supergirl is shown. A brainwashed Supergirl wears a costume similar to Leia in Star Wars.

DC’s Bizarro is a creature who is meant to have all powers of Superman and has poor intelligence and served the Joker.

In Emperor Joker, all the characters had an opposite, and Supergirl as well. Hers was Bizzaro-Girl, and she talks like “she is zombie” and is completely out of her mind.

The dock workers that had been depicted in the Superman/Batman: Apocalypse had been put in a very difficult spot when Kara Zor-El had crashed landed on earth for the very first time. The men and the audience had been given a view as she tried to communicate with them in an alien language.

The animated film, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse had been based off “The Supergirl from Krypton.” Here, we all got a much deeper backstory in the DC world. When Kara Zor-El reaches Earth and then has her run-in with Batman and the dock workers, she had then caused a lot of a stir for pulling her cousin out of the cold palace. The very first issue had shown us a panel with a nearly nude Supergirl.

Batgirl and Wonder Girl is seen throwing a few rocks at Supergirl’s window, and then Kara decides to join them. She then fights Kal, and calls him a “narc” and that he cannot tell her what to do As he is not her dad. “No, but I am Superman!” Kara then responds and gives her cousin a wedgie.

In Silver Age’s Action Comics #289, Kara and Kal had traveled time and space and were searching for a wife for Superman.

They had searched but did not find a mate for him. Kara then feels like she failed him and Kal then says that if he did get married, he would marry her.

In Action Comics #868, Superman was missing. Supergirl was trying to find him, and she runs into Catherine Grant/Cat Grant who has been around ever since she had debuted in the year, 1987 in Adventures of Superman #424. Supergirl might be strong, but she was not socially intelligent and had an endearing trait that reminded all of us of Starfire. She had passed a comment on Cat’s “modifications” with her X-ray vision.
