27 Epic Captain America Quotes From The MCU

Steve Rogers -Captain America is easily the most patriotic, morally upright and principled superhero in the whole of the MCU and he has been revered by many who look upon him as the ray of hope. Cap has inspired a whole generation to fight for humanity and their country. He is a very devoted and selfless super soldier, and he puts his team and the world above his very own interest.

In ‘The Avengers’ in “Battle of New York” with Loki and the Chitauri, he had helped the Avengers to win, and this had been followed by a threat of extinction from Ultron, and he had stood his ground and also put humanity and his team first before himself.

Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr., have also revealed that they are contractually down and unless Marvel signs these actors up for a new contract, this will bring the characters back, and it is only then that they can return. But Marvel and Disney have built these characters that will lead the MCU for the next ten years after Captain America, and Iron Man and Thor are out. These places will be taken by Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and also Spider-Man.

Out of these 3, only Chris Hemsworth had said that he will be interested to come back since he is not done with the God of Thunder. But Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have a very tight schedule after Avengers 4 and a few months back, Chris Evans was not really clear about his plans:

“It’s really not up to me. My contract is up. I’m not going to sit here and say ‘No more.’ I think Hugh Jackman has made 47 Wolverine movies, and they somehow keep getting better. It’s a character I love, and it’s a factory that really knows what they’re doing. The system is sound, over there. They make great movies. If they weren’t kicking out quality, I’d have a different opinion. But, everything Marvel does seems to be cinema gold”.

He then added:

“I love the character. The only reason it would end is because my contract is up. After Avengers 4, my contract is done. Talk to Marvel. If we engage further, I’d be open to it. I love the character. It’s almost like high school. You certainly always look to senior year, and then, all of a sudden, senior year happens, and you’re like, ‘I don’t know if I’m ready to go.’ It’s tough thinking about not playing the guy.”

“You want to get off the train before they push you off,”

Chris Evans had mentioned that he is all set to look beyond Marvel but now it looks like he has opened his mind again and has teased that he is not fully done yet:

“Well, the contracts done. A lot of our contracts are through. Myself, [Robert] Downey, [Chris] Hemsworth, we all kind of started roughly at the same time. I mean, I think we all through Avengers 4 kind of wrap it up. But at this point, I don’t know what’s next, but yeah by 2019 that’s it… Well, we’ll see.”
