There is a wide range of benevolent superheroes in the Marvel Universe, and there are not too many more morally correct than the wall-crawler, Spider-Man! He was bitten by a radioactive spider who was manipulated scientifically, and it gave Peter Parker some amazing powers. While Parker’s newly gained strength and speed could be overwhelming, he was taught a great lesson by his Uncle Ben in his early days as a superhero. Uncle Ben told him that great power is accompanied by great responsibility. Keeping this powerful moral message in mind, Parker went on to become one of the most honest heroes and has regularly put the welfare of others ahead of his own, and he has always tried to live up to the reputation of being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
However, the vast Marvel multiverse has numerous Earths identical to the main Earth known as Earth-616, and they greatly differ in many ways. There are some realities where the situations and incidents turn Peter Parker into a scary force of destruction, instead of the Spider-Man that we know. Imagine what if Uncle Ben had not given him the lesson about responsibility? What if he had gone bonkers when Gwen Stacey’s neck was broken during that battle with the Green Goblin? What if the Spider bite had turned him into a human flesh eating monster? With the change in circumstances, the outcome also changes. It is quite possible that the beloved superhero could have turned into a deadly villain in the comic books. Here are some such nightmarish depictions of the Spider-Men. Take a look!
