Here Is The List Of Characters To Appear In Margot Robbie’s Birds Of Prey

According to The Wrap, the Birds of Prey film will have a vast list of DC Comics female characters. While Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) is obvious, there will also be Dinah Lance/Black Canary, Helena Bertinelli/Huntress, Cassandra Cain, and Renee Montoya.

Those who love the Birds of Prey comic books, this will be a great relief as the movie’s anticipated cast has varied greatly in the last few months. We agree that there would be fans annoyed at the absence of Barbara Gordon, who was supposed to be a part of the film as either Batgirl or Oracle. However, taking into account the pivotal role that the character played in the establishment of Birds of Prey, we need to wait and watch what kind of importance she would be given in DCEU.

This announcement apparently confirms the characters that will comprise the Birds of Prey and the DC Films’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con is barely days away. That means the DC fans would now start speculating about the cast to play these roles. Fortunately, as Robbie said, the cast will probably be as diverse as possible.

Yep, yes exactly, real life isn’t so one specific images,” said Robbie. “We’ve got to reflect that onscreen.”

“I pitched the idea of an R-rated girl gang film including Harley because I was like, ‘Harley needs friends.’ Harley loves interacting with people, so don’t ever make her do a standalone film,” Robbie had said previously. “She’s got to be with other people; it should be a girl gang. I wasn’t seeing enough girl gangs on screen, especially in the action space. So that was always a big part of it.”

The Cathy Yan directed Birds of Prey is produced by Robbie alongside Sue Kroll from Kroll & Co and Bryan Unkeless from Clubhouse Pictures. The script was written by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee).

It is also reported that there would be a Batman enemy in the film who has so far not been seen on the big screen. We don’t know who that is, but, fans are expected to come up with their own speculations.
