Hunt For Wolverine: What Makes Tony Stark Wear His Iron Man Armor

We won’t be surprised if that line up appears familiar because that was the core group of a version of the New Avengers once. In fact, the preview for the upcoming Hunt For Wolverine: The Adamantium Agenda #2, takes us back to a past adventure of the group and that makes us wonder why Tony Stark is wearing his expensive and high-tech Iron-Man armor.

Long time back, there was a mission in Tribeca wherein Wolverine was compelled to use his body as a shield to limit the blast radius when a massive explosion occurred. After that, during a search for the dead fellow, Tony spotted a hand with three adamantium claws, sticking out of the debris.

Tony removes the rubble and finds Wolverine’s damaged body, but, his scanners fail to indicate any sign of life, or at least that’s what he felt.

In a flash, Logan’s eyes open and with a deft “SNIKT” he jabs an uppercut, his razor-sharp adamantium claws slicing straight through the mighty armor.

Taking everything into account, we do wonder why Tony repeatedly wears his hi-tech, billion-dollar armor, risking his life repeatedly, when he has the option of doing it remotely as has been seen often. Maybe that’s how things are in this case too because Tony did survive to live another day.

Created by Tom Taylor, R.B. Silva, Adriano Di Benedetto, Guru-eFX and Joe Sabino, the Hunt for Wolverine: The Adamantium Agenda #2 is now available at comic book stores.
