The MCU and the DCEU are regarded as each other’s biggest rivals. They both compete with each other on various platforms; therefore, it is quite difficult to imagine their characters being friends. But, is it impossible? The fans behave as if the actors and the studios are after each other’s blood, but, the reality is opposite. In fact, the actors of both the cinematic universes are often, very good friends. You think we are lying? Well, here is the proof.
Recently, Mark Ruffalo shared a post on social media, and through it, the Marvel Cinematic Universe shocked the wits out of DCEU hero Jason Momoa who portrays Arthur Curry aka Aquaman on the big screen.
It appeared to be a regular day for Jason Momoa. He had to promote his film, do photo ops with the fans and click photos with them. It was all going well until an unknown person with a mask, and a fez stepped forward to get clicked with him. As per his style, Jason Momoa put up the standard “surfs up” sign and get clicked with the fan in that pose.
However, it was when Momoa asked the fan to remove the mask after the photo was clicked, that the star realized what was happening. The fan turned out to be none other than Mark Ruffalo aka The Incredible Hulk from the MCU. The video that was captured revealed that the duo laughed heartily before the screen went dark.
You can take a look at the video below:
It sounds so incredibly awesome! As we found out, the enmity between the two franchises is almost fictional as far as the actors who play the various roles in their films are concerned.
The bromance between the two actors was a great example of how comfortable these actors really are. Nothing can come between these actors pulling pranks on each other and having some great comic book entertainment.
Jason Momoa will soon be seen as Arthur Curry in Aquaman. The film is scheduled to release on December 14, 2018. The movie’s synopsis is shared below:
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director, James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
Mark Ruffalo’s last Hulk appearance was in Avengers: Infinity War. The film is now out on Blu-ray and Digital. Its official synopsis is as given below:
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. What are your thoughts on this funny gag featuring Ruffalo and Momoa? Do you still believe that these movie heroes have hostility towards each other in real life? If you think yes, then you should check the video below.
Aquaman is expected to revive the DCEU. Director James Wan has given all his expertise to balance the film between dark and gutsy to easy and funny. The film will greatly impact the future of the DC Extended Universe. Its box office performance will decide the chances of the other rumoured DCEU films that are probably a part of the studio’s future plans. At the same time, Mark Ruffalo is busy with filming and promoting the Avengers 4, which is going to be the grand ending of the MCU’s current phase. One thing is certain. As long as actors like Ruffalo and Momoa are around, there is always going to be some behind-the-scenes fun and action even before the release of the movies.
