The new casting announcement from Netflix is for their upcoming movie called, The Devil All The Time, which is a drama and horror film from Antonio Campos. This film will star two of the MCU actors, Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America). While these two stars had been crucial parts of Avengers: Infinity War, they have not been seen together onscreen after the film, Captain America: Civil War.
Thes two actors are not the only big names in the upcoming film. Robert Pattinson (Good Time, Twilight), Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland, Only Lovers Left Alive), Bill Skarsgård (It, Castle Rock), and also, Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects, Little Women) will join.
According to the description on IMDB, this film is “set in rural Ohio an West Virginia” and will follow “compelling and bizarre characters from the end of World War II to the 1960s.” The movie will be based on the novel that goes by the same name by Donald Ray Pollock.
The film has been co-written by Antonio and Paulo Campos. The former is well-known for Afterschool, Simon Killer and Christine.
Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home are releasing this year. Since Holland’s character had become dust in Infinity War, it is unclear how big a role he will have in Endgame.
Chris Evans will co-star in Rian Johnson’s movie, Knives Out, which is the director’s first feature since Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The film will have a star-studded cast, including Daniel Craig, Toni Collette and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The Devil All the Time will begin streaming on Netflix sometime in 2020.
