Marvel’s Doctor Strange had a lot of references to the Quantum Realm, and even after the President, Kevin Feige had mentioned that Captain Marvel would be related to the Quantum Realm, it surely was not! There was no resemblance between Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel whatsoever except for one small scene.
In the film, Doctor Strange, when Stephen had met the Ancient One, she shows him the Multiverse and gives him a tour. She does this by sending his Astral Form/conscience through the various dimensions of the Multiverse. The montage will be appreciated if it were to be seen on IMAX 3D. Something like this also happens in Captain Marvel.
Carol is not sent on a journey of the Multiverse, but the character’s mind had been tormented by a similar montage. Before the last battle happens in Captain Marvel, Yon Rogg gets Carol and tries to control her by giving her to the Supreme Intelligence.
Then, Intelligence torments her to make her bend the Knee, and this is where the fans get the moment just like that in Doctor Strange as Carol is flown through many compounds of Supreme Intelligence.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and written by Liz Flahive, Meg LeFauve, Carly Mensch, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, it stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Algenis Perez Soto as Att-Lass, McKenna Grace as a young Carol Danvers and Annette Bening as Supreme Intelligence and Mar-Vell.
