3. Care Bear and Cousins
Many fans are not aware of the origin of The Care Bears. The Care Bears were created in the early ‘80s by greeting card company American Greetings. These 10 happy bears used to win the hearts of kids back in the day by wearing their emotions on their bellies. There was a brief reboot in 2012 for the Hub Network’s Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot series. Netflix plans to reintroduce the bears as Care Bears and Cousins on its network in 2016.
4. The Magic School Bus 360°
Here we have another Scholastic gem. Back in the ‘90s, children grew up learning about science and technology from Scholastic’s The Magic School Bus. Once again Netflix comes to the fore to reboot this project. Netflix will stream 26 half-hour episodes of a rebooted version of the show called The Magic School Bus 360°. The flying school bus and Ms. Frizzle will still be there although she is likely to be voiced Lily Tomlin this time around. As a part of the rebooted elements, the show will introduce newer and more contemporary scientific tools as they take their field trips around the universe.
