The fan-favoriteSpider-Man franchise had almost come to an end after Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and the disappointing Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Marvel and Sony had then made adecisionto collaborate and together launched a whole new Spider-Man franchise which would revitalize everyone’s beloved wall-crawling superheroes.

Tom Holland had been roped in as the superhero and he surely did pull off the character, Peter Parker and the alter ego, Spider-Manpretty well. The actor’s performance has been considered to be one of the best and most accurate version of Spider-Man. This character was introduced into the MCU in the movie, Civil War and here, Tony Stark had brought him into his team for fighting against Team Cap.

The very first solo film, Spider-Man: Homecoming had adapted the classic “Spider-Man Homecoming” storyline during the 1990’s. This film had been set during the aftermath of the events of the film, Captain America: Civil War, where Spidey had gotten an upgraded suit and he had also taken down Vulture.

This film was a huge blockbuster and had earned more than $750 million at the global box office. This had then paved the way for a sequel and this is getting all the fans super hyped and excited.

Recently, the actor, Tom Holland had taken to Instagram and had revealed the official title of the sequel-‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. Marvel’s President, Kevin Feigehas said that he thinks this title is pretty apt:

“We start filming early July. We film in London. We shot first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.”

The plot of this movie has been well-guarded but there have been a few leaks from the sets, and recently a whole new video had been released and this was shot at an airport. In this scene, we can see Peter Parker exiting the airport and he seems to be in a hurry. He had come there with his high-school batch for a field trip. One of the crew members’ t-shirts matches the school’s logo.

The actor, Michael Keaton will be reprising his role of the character, Adrian Toomes(Vulture) but there seems to be a series of supervillains from Spider-Man comics that all the fans may actually get to see on the silver screen. Jake Gyllenhaal has now come under consideration to play the villain, Mysterio and there seems to be a lot of rumors of Molten Man, Hydro-Man, Scorpion and Chameleon making appearances.

All the Spider-Man fans are super concerned that film-makers might actually make the very same mistake that had been committed by Sam Raimi’s last movie in the Spider-Man trilogy-Spider-Man 3. Here, the comic books’ iconic villain, Venom had been wasted and the character was not treated well.

The actress, Zendaya will also reprise her role as the character, MJ/Michelle in Spider-Man: Far From Home. She had recently shared an image of her co-star, Jacob Batalon during the filming and we can see him playing the guitar and sporting a Deadpool T-Shirt.

The casting process is now in full swing and the actor, J.B. Smoove was added to play a mysterious role in the movie. It has been reported that the Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) and Mariah Hill (Cobie Smulders) will also be making appearances in this sequel.

The movie, Spider-Man: Far from Home will release on July 5, 2019. The film will be directed by Jon Watts and he had helmed Spider-Man: Homecoming as well.

The official synopsis of the movie is:

“Peter Parker tries to stop Adrian Toomes from selling weapons made with advanced Chitauri technology while trying to balance his life as an ordinary high school student”.
