‘The Big Bang Theory’ To End After Season 12. Here’s What Is Happening

It now it seems like CBS’ show, The Big Bang Theory is all ready to close its curtain.

According to an all-new press release from the CBS, it looks like the network has decided to end the Big Bang Theory after the 12th and final season. Season 12 is now under production.

“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers, and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close,” the WBTV and Chuck Lorre Productions had said.

There have been a lot of speculation amongst the fans if the show should actually continue after this. A few had thought that Season 13 may be the last season and a few others had believed that the current installment would wrap the show up.

This series will be ending after Season 12, and this brings the episode count to 279. The Big Bang Theory has now become the longest-running show in TV history. The show has also earned 52 Emmy nominations and have won 10.

The show’s regulars cast members are Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch are all returning for the final season, which is set to premiere on Monday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
