This Is How Infinity War Is Connected To Thor The Dark World

The ensemble movie, Avengers: Infinity War had been packed with so much for action and surprises. This movie had involved a lot of characters and had taken place in a lot of locations. This film had been based on the many plots and stories that had previously taken place in the MCU.

The upcoming movie, Avengers 4 has been rumoured to take the fans back in time, and the plan would be to get the stones way before Thanos could have and because Thor: The Dark World has been considered to be one of the weakest films in the MCU, the Avengers 4 might treat it like they had treated the retrieval of the Power Stone from Xandar.

The MCU might try and stay from what had happened in The Dark World, but this movie had a few details that had panned out to be pretty big in the MCU. One of these had been spotted by a Redditor, and this was the reveal of Nidavellir. Thor had revealed that Nidavellir was a location where weapons had been built, and this is where the film had taken its fans.

This had been the planet of all the dwarves that had been attacked by Thanos. Eitri had survived and had helped Thor in creating his Stormbreaker Axe. This was the very first time that the fans had heard of this planet, but this was not the very first time that the MCU has mentioned it.

It is pretty amazing how Marvel had hid this key plot point in such small Easter Eggs. The entire plot of Ant-Man and the Wasp was based on a very small Easter Egg. Other easter eggs include the silhouette of Janet Van Dyne in the Quantum Realm, the Infinity Gauntlet being teased in the very first Thor movie and even Vormir getting a reveal in the first Thor movie.

No one can really beat Marvel when it comes to Easter Eggs. Zack Snyder had tried, but he had not been allowed to finish this.

Thor was a huge hero, and he had the most amount of screen time other than Thanos. Joe Russo had revealed this before Infinity War:

“Interestingly enough, I’ll start out by saying Thanos, even though he’s not a character that had a huge preexisting story in the Marvel universe. He was a threat, but he was not developed in any way up to this point. Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time in this film, in a lot of ways I would say it’s his movie. Our job when we make these films — and what we feel is important to us — is to surprise the audience. We wanted to tell a story that they weren’t expecting, and the story is told from the point of view of a villain, which I think is also really unique and risky for a commercial film that will surprise the audience. I think this is a market where the audience really enjoys innovation and disruption, and we want to do something innovative in this space. So I think Thanos has an incredible amount of screen time, and I think you’ll find that Thor has a really interesting arc in the film. He hasn’t been at the forefront of other Avengers movies, but he certainly has a very important role in this film. So I’ll say, Thanos and Thor.”

Thor will return in the movie, Avengers 4.
