Yeah, right! The beloved Steve Rogers has turned 100, at least as far as the MCU’s timeline is concerned. It was the eagle-eyed Marvel fans who noticed that Steve Rogers’ Certificate of Acceptability from the Department of Selective Service, mentions the date of birth as July 4, 1918, and they are having great fun on the birthday of the legend.

Captain America is among the biggest icons for Marvel, in the comic books and the films based on them. Fans on social media shared their favorite Captain America covers, classic as well as recent, and also the clips from various MCU movies featuring the hero.

The clips also include the beloved PSA videos from Spider-Man: Homecoming (So, it’s your birthday), and visuals from Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War.

However, one of the best photos came from Pietro, who mentions “Happy Birthday, Steve Rogers, one of my biggest Inspirations. Thank you for teaching me every day the importance of being selfless, altruistic, brave and compassionate. Thank you for being a hero ‘inside.’ Happy bday, Cap. #Happy100thBirthdaySteveRogers”

The photo showed Captain from the movie Winter Soldier, sprawled on the ground with his shield underneath him, and had a caption “Not A Perfect Soldier.” The image below showed Steve Rogers from the unforgettable Captain America: The First Avenger scene where the pre-serum days Steve dived on a grenade, and it had the caption “But A Good Man.”

Redditors also shared various memorable Captain America moments from the movies including the elevator sequence from Captain America: Winter Soldier, his conversation with Doctor Erskin from Captain America: The First Avenger and the sequence from Avengers: Age of Ultron where he almost picked up Mjolnir, as well as the Avengers: Infinity War scene where he took on Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet.

So we suggest that you should sit back, enjoy and raise a toast to the 100th birthday of the iconic Avenger Captain America!
