The ’80s were surely a great time for all TV viewers. This was one of the decades that nerds now find themselves super nostalgic for. Many throwback TV shows have become huge hits like The Goldbergs. Film franchises like Die Hard and Terminator are now popping back up. We all still find ourselves talking about The Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen as though they had been the golden and perfect standard of all mainstream superhero comic books. What all the Gen-Xers and a few older millennials are super nostalgic for are the 80’s cartoons that they just cannot get enough of.
A lot of our beloved cartoons from the Golden age of the ’80s have been seen popping up again over the past few years. We have all seen reboots like Voltron, He-Man, Thundercats, She-Ra, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These amazing and cherished shows have been huge influences on many established, and budding writers and artists and some of them have done comic book reboots of Transformers and also, Jem and the Holograms.
