American actress, talk-show host, comedian, author, producer, writer, and director Aisha N. Tyler was born on 18th September 1970 in Francisco, California to James Tyler and Robin Gregory. The family expended one year in Ethiopia and later spent time living in an ashram in Oakland, California. Aisha followed an early interest in comedy at McAteer High School in San Francisco, which had a particular program called School of the Arts, now named Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts. Tyler did her graduation from Dartmouth College in1992.
After specializing for a San Francisco advertising firm, she visited the country seeking a comedy career before shifting to Los Angeles in 1996.
Aisha’s profession in television took off in 2001 with jobs as the host of Talk Soup and the reality-dating series The Fifth Wheel although Talk Soup was discontinued the next year and Tyler left the show in 2002 to seek other interests. Aisha Tyler is popularly known for characterizing Andrea Marino in the first season of Ghost Whisperer, Mother Nature in the Santa Clause films, Dr. Tara Lewis in Criminal Minds. She also portrays repeated roles on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Talk Soup and Friends.
She is previously the co-host of CBS’s The Talk, where she earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment TalkHost. Aisha also hosted Ubisoft’s E press seminars and has entrusted her voice to the video games Gears of War3 and Halo: Reach.
