Amy Louise Acker is an American entertainer. She acted as the character of “Winifred Burkle” and “Illyria” on the TV arrangement Angel. Somewhere in the range of 2012 and 2016, she played Root on Person of Interest, having become an arrangement ordinary during the third season.
Acker was conceived on December 5, 1976, in Dallas, Texas, to a homemaker mother and an attorney father. She moved on from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas. She accordingly earned a four-year college education in theatre from Southern Methodist University.

In her lesser year of school, Acker displayed for J. Team index. She got a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the equivalent year. She filled in as a phase entertainer for a few seasons, remembering a spell at American Players Theatre for Spring Green, Wisconsin.

Acker made her significant TV debut when she featured as Winifred “Fred” Burkle in Angel (seasons 2–5), and as the character of Illyria for part of the show’s fifth and last season. She won the 2003 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her depiction.

Acker with the spouse, James Carpinello, in 2005 joined the cast of Alias in 2005 for its last season, playing villainess Kelly Peyton. Acker moved on from visitor star to completely acknowledged cast part as the show entered the last scenes in April and May 2006.
