During the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, the entertainment industry has been shut down and during this lock-down period the stand-up comedian, Amy Schumer has found herself a new job, a barber. Recently, she has posted a clip on her Instagram showing her trimming her husband Chris Fischer’s neck hair and it was also shown that when Fischer moaned slightly, she shut him up.
In 2018, she got married to chef and farmer, Chris Fischer with whom she has a child. Before him, she has dated professional wrestler, Nick Nemeth.
She was born on 1st June in 1981 in Manhattan, New York City, the U.S. Her parents are Gordon David Schumer and Sandra Jane. She completed her graduation with a degree in theatre from Towson University in 2003.
After completing graduation, she appeared as a young woman in the off-Broadway black comedy, Keeping Abreast. She performed at Gotham Comedy Club in 2004 and 2007, she appeared in Live at Gotham episode. That year, she participated in the reality television talent show, Last Comic Standing and placed fourth. The following year, she starred in the Comedy Central reality show, Reality Bites Back. In 2011, she also appeared in an episode of WTF with Marc Maron. In 2012, she appeared in three films including Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Price Check and Sleepwalk with Me.
In 2011, she has released a standup comedy album, Cutting. In 2012, she began to work on a comedy series and started writing the series as well and the series, called Inside Amy Schumer was premiered in 2013 for which she has won several awards. In 2015, she wrote her first leading role in the film, Trainwreck. Her comedy special, Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo was released in 2015 for which she has been nominated for an award. In 2016, she released her memoir, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo has released. She made her Broadway debut in 2017 with the comedy play, Meteor Shower. In 2018, the original podcast, Amy Schumer Presents: 3 Girls, 1 Keith has released.
She has won the Critics’ Choice Movie Award, Britannia Award, Peabody Award, Primetime Emmy Award, and others.
