The American actress who is best known for playing the role of Kandi in the television comedy series, Two and a Half Men and Rita Farr in the television series Titans and its spin-off, Doom Patrol is none other than April Bowlby.
She was born on 30th July in 1980 in Vallejo, California, U.S. When was a child, she moved to Manteca, California along with her family. She studied at East Union High School. She has an interest in ballet, marine biology, and French. From childhood, she had a dream to become a ballerina. She completed her graduation from Moorpark College. She also took lessons in drama with Ivana Chubbuck.
Before pursuing her career as an actress, she used to work as a model. She made her debut in acting with the television series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004. She appeared in the series, CSI: NY in the role of Jenny Lee in 2005. That year, she also appeared as Jasmine in the television series, Stacked.
She became famous for appearing as Kandi in the television series, Two and a Half Men to which she was attached from 2005-2015. She played the role of Meg, Barney Stinson’s obsessive girlfriend in the series How I Met Your Mother. She was attached to the series from 2007-2014. She appeared as Stacy Barrett in the series, Drop Dead Diva from 2009-2014. In 2018, she became famous for playing the role of Rita Farr.
She also reprised her role in its spin-off, Doom Patrol that released in 2019. Her other television series are Heathers, The Big Bang Theory, Mom, You’re the Worst, Kath & Kim, Sands of Oblivion, Freddie, and the others. She made her big-screen debut with the film, All Roads Lead Home in 2008. Her other films are From Prada to Nada, The Slammin’ Salmon, Unbroken: Path to Redemption, etc.
