Promotions for Avengers 4 are unlikely to start before December. There is a great deal about the movie is still under wraps. The film is going to be the mega culmination of the narrative that Marvel has built over the years, and soon we will be witnessing the final acts of the MCU Phase 3. The film is also expected to establish the base for the future MCU movies. Presently, the title of the film is eagerly awaited and so is the first look of the film. In fact, they have been so secretive that we don’t even have an official confirmation about Hawkeye turning into Ronin.
Marvel didn’t tell us about the absence of the archer from the Infinity War lineup. He didn’t appear on any of the promo materials of the film, but, people had believed that he would be a part of the film since he is among the six core Avengers. He must play some crucial role in the film, and that is why he might have been deliberately kept out of the trailers and TV spots. However, ultimately we found that he was not a part of the promotions because he was not a part of the movie itself. The only Hawkeye thing we heard was the mention of his name ‘Clint.’
However, there is a confirmation that Hawkeye will indeed be a part of Avengers 4. Marvel is not going to deny us that. He has to play a key role while his fellow Avengers will go on time hopping. Sometime back, a character images set was leaked, and it gave a hazy look at the costume of Ronin, and we were able to deduce that Clint would indeed take on the persona of Ronin. Take a look!
Although, we have not yet got any clear look at Ronin’s suit, but, the talented Boss Logic has come up with a concept art which seems to be nearly accurate to the eventual look. Take a look here:
There is no doubt that Ronin looks totally awesome in this concept art, but, there is one thing that is missing in the concept art, but, will be seen in the movie, and that is the hoodie! Therefore, it is good to see that Boss Logic didn’t forget about this little aspect of the costume. Here you can take a look at the concept of Ronin with the hood:
It is similar to the eventual look, but, there are going to be differences in the actual suit whenever it is revealed. According to rumors, Hawkeye will be out on a mission to hunt down the Yakuza (likely to be Skrull agents) in Japan. That is why he will get this deadly Ninja look. Also, the character story for Clint is going to be a bit darker than what we have seen so far with Hawkeye in the MCU.
His path will be dark and more savage because he is a man seeking revenge for his family. The snap by Thanos would have killed some or maybe all of his family members. The Russos had stated previously that the victims of the Snap were picked in a way to ensure that their demise impacted the survivors. That is the reason why Bucky had turned to ashes in front of Captain America, Spider-Man in front of his mentor Tony Stark, Groot in front of Rocket, T’Challa in front of Okoye and so on. Therefore, we might see Hawkeye’s entire family getting wiped out in front of his eyes.
The Avengers 4 is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and directed by Joe & Anthony Russo. The film’s cast is likely to include Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tessa Thompson, Evangeline Lilly, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum and Brie Larson.
