For a long time, the Marvel fans have wished to see the day when all of their beloved characters come together on screen.

Now that the Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox is going to give them the rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool, this might just come true.

During a recent Wizard World Comic Con panel in Austin, Rob Liefeld, the iconic Marvel creator of Deadpool, mentioned what he thinks is up ahead.

He said: “Ryan Reynolds is going to have a long and glorious career in the Marvel universe.”

The writer reportedly talked at length about how the new acquisitions would mean that all the Marvel superheroes will be able to live in the same shared universe.

Bob Iger, the Disney head also confirmed that soon there would be only one Marvel on screen.

Liefield said: “Imagine whatever Disney function that they bring out everybody, [Robert] Downey Jr, [Chris] Evans, all of the people you’ve already seen, [Chris] Pratt. And then Ryan Reynolds walks on stage. I think the world will explode because that’s all people want, is for him to take the p*** out of everybody.”

At the same time, Liefield also confessed to there being a great likely concern.

He said: “Here’s the thing, my only fear is that they’re never gonna make another Deadpool (standalone movie). He’s just gonna run around Marvel movies making fun of everybody.”

Deadpool and the X-Men will come to MCU as a part of the Fox deal that Disney has recently completed. However, what about Sony owned Spider-Man?

Liefield added: “I hope Spider-Man is somehow there, I know that’s a Sony thing, but I just think, once he’s sitting there with Downey Jr, and Chris Evans or Chris Pratt… Myself? I won’t know what to do with myself.”

Fans also are still expecting that Spider-Man would make an appearance in the upcoming Venom film.

Reports had emerged about Tom Holland being seen on the Venom set, and rumors have been doing rounds whether we would see him as Spider-Man or as Peter Parker.

Barring a surprise cameo, his involvement is highly unlikely.

As far as the Merc with a Mouth is concerned, he might still be able to complete the X-Force plans before he starts hopping around the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
