It has been speculated that a few huge names may meet their ends in the movie, Avengers: Endgame. One of these is the foundation of the MCU- Mister Avenger aka, Steve Rogers.
With a lot of fans worried that their favourite superhero will not make it through the movie, a few recent comments from the actor himself are probably not too settling for the heart.
In a recent press conference, Chris Evans had spoken about his character’s story arc being complete in Endgame.
“It’s the completion of the arc, that’s safe to say, right?” Evans had said.
“This movie does provide kind of an ending to a lot of –“
The actor was then cut off Joe by Russo, who had made a game sound effect, and cut off Evans from spoiling a huge plot point.
“There is a 22-film tapestry, you know,” Evans had said.
“He’s been through so much.”
The Iron Man director, Jon Favreau who was the moderator of the panel had interrupted and suggested that the team switch the conversation to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, much to the delight of both Brie Larson and Evans who are the two MCU stars who appeared in the Edgar Wright movie.
Chris Evans’ comments have suggested that the end is near for Steve Rogers. If the Super Soldier makes it through Avengers: Endgame, it is highly likely that he and the likes of RDJ’s Tony Stark will have smaller roles going ahead.
Avengers: Endgame will release on April 26th.
