For all Marvel Studios films, mid and post-credits scenes have now become a staple, and this dates back to the first MCU movie, Iron Man that had released in the year, 2008. In the year, 2018, Avengers: Infinity War had left all the fans on the edge of their seats after having teased the arrival of the superhero, Captain Marvel.
Over the past 10 years, it has become customary for many viewers to wait after movie is over and wait for the post-credit scenes. With Avengers: Endgame being a finale to the MCU’s saga, the team had decided to refrain from having a post-credit scene.
A few have speculated that there was an end-credits scene, but Marvel had taken it out from the final cut.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos.
