The movie, Avengers: Endgame had its premiere recently, and virtually all of the MCU stars had been present. This also included a surprise appearance of Natalie Portman. All the fans would know that she had played the role of Jane Foster in the first two Thor films and had been the love interest of Thor. However, she did not make an appearance in the movie, Thor: Ragnarok and it looked like she was done with this role.
This is what the actress had to say:
“It’s been so exciting to get to be part of this whole Marvel universe and to see all of these incredible new characters be revealed to audiences every year, and of course, to have women in science be front and center is incredible, to spread that culture throughout the world.”
It is very much possible that Disney and Marvel had extended an offer for the actress to attend the premiere of the movie as she had been a part of the MCU. But all the fans were not happy with this explanation. A few of the fans have speculated that Jane Foster would return in Avengers: Endgame.
“Natalie Portman is at the #AvengersEndgame premiere!? Please tell me they bring Dr Jane Foster back.”
Avengers: Endgame will release on April 26.
