‘Avengers: Infinity War’: Don Cheadle Reveals That Mark Ruffalo Had Spoiled The Film’s Ending Even Before Its Release

Sometime back, Avengers: Infinity War star Don Cheadle made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he revealed that Mark Ruffalo had actually spoiled the mega ending of Avengers: Infinity War, before the film’s release.

You can check in the clip above where Cheadle and Kimmel review a segment from an earlier telecast of Jimmy Kimmel Live, where Cheadle and Ruffalo appeared to promote Infinity War. During that portion, Ruffalo teased about the end of Infinity War, saying that everyone died in the end. However, upon a careful review of the recording, it was evident that Ruffalo had revealed the actual ending of the movie.

“Well if you listen very closely, he actually started to say the absolute truth, and then had to try to say ‘everybody’ after he almost said ‘half.’ It was like, ‘You just messed the whole thing up!'” Cheadle says.

However, as Cheadle said that this mistake by Ruffalo didn’t cause any damage and there was no major fallout from the Marvel side. However, he said that Ruffalo is no more going to do press tours for Marvel films, but, he might not do any press for any film, because he might just spill MCU secrets.

Ruffalo survived a major scare by getting most press outlets to publish the story, assuming that he was joking about the ending of the film, and Cheadle appeared to be a part of the joke. Most of the fans believed that Ruffalo was just playing up on his public image as a spoiler expert, and he was doing it all for humor, but, the truth is, he is actually like that. As per the other Avengers: Infinity War cast members, Spider-Man star Tom Holland is the worthy contender to Ruffalo when it comes to spilling the beans.

It is obvious then that we don’t expect to see Ruffalo during the press tour of Avengers 4 next year.

Avengers: Infinity War is out on digital download, Blu-ray, and DVD. Ant-Man and The Wasp is still running in theatres. Future MCU films include Captain Marvel on March 8, next year, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
