If all the rumours are true, and Warner Bros. is actually aiming at capitalizing on the success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies with a Batman Beyond animated movie, the star, Will Friedle has said that he is ready to start recording.

While all rumours regarding a Batman Beyond live-action film have come up up every few years, it looks like this version that will get off the ground will be true to the animated TV series.

While quoting a report on these rumours, Friedle had tweeted,

“Uh…for real? I hope I get to play!”

He had included “Bring back Beyond”, and “Schway” hashtags and the latter has surely been getting a lot of a workout over this season because Nora is now using the word on CW’s The Flash.

There is no more information as of now, but it seems like pre-production on the movie is now underway. The concept art for a mysterious project had been posted on the DCEU Leaks subreddit, and this shows a whole new take on the character, Terry McGinnis.

Another image shows a display in the Batcave and is features costumes for Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, and also, the original Batman.

All the fans have been clamouring for a Batman Beyond film, and one of the fans include Kevin Smith. This director had made a few waves when he had suggested that a live-action version of this film should bring back Michael Keaton.

Batman Beyond had run for three seasons and also 52 episodes, from 1999 till the year, 2001. A rumoured season 4 of Batman Beyond had not really come to fruition, although this character has had many years of well-received stories in the comic books.

This series is centred on Terry McGinnis, who is a young man thrust into the role of a Batman in a cyberpunk near-future. Terry operates under the tutelage of an old Bruce Wayne, whose body cannot stand the strain of being the Caped Crusader.

Michael Uslan had said that he would like to see one with Clint Eastwood as the aging Bruce Wayne. Then, the director, Boaz Yakin had been considered for a Batman Beyond adaptation in the year,  2000.
