Brooke Shields, the American actress, was born on 31st May 1965 in Manhattan, New York. Her career started as a child model, but she got recognition after being cast in the leading role in the film Pretty Boy, in which she portrayed a child prostitute.
Shields starred in films like The Blue Lagoon, Endless Love. After her graduation in Romance Languages, she resumed her acting career by playing minor characters. Shields was cast in the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan, for which she received two nominations for Golden Globe Awards.
