The English actress who is best known for her role as Sophie Webster in the British soap opera, Coronation Street is none other than Brooke Vincent.
She was born in Audenshaw, Greater Manchester, England on 4th June in 1992. Her parents are Nicola Anderson and Anthony Vincent. She studied at Fairfield High School for Girls and earned a National Diploma in acting from The Manchester College.
She made her debut in acting in 2002 with the television series, The League of Gentleman in which she was cast in a guest role of Casey Glass. She became very famous for portraying the role of Sophie Webster in the long-running British soap opera, Coronation Street in 2004. She replaced Emma Woodward who left the series at the end of 2003. She gained positive reviews and was praised widely for her performance.
She has been nominated for multiple awards for the series. She was attached to the series till 2019. In 2006, she appeared in the singing reality show, Soapstar Superstar. She also took part in the British television reality series, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here: Extra Camp. That year, she also appeared in the comedy game show, Blankety Blank. She participated in the tenth series of the dance reality show, Dancing on Ice partnered with Matej Silecky and finished in second place. She reprised her role as Sophie Webster in the direct-to-DVD spin-off film, Coronation Street: Out of Africa. In 2019, she was cast as Gemma in the short film, My Toughest Battle and as Olivia in the short film, Chapter 2: Zach. She launched her stationery brand, Oh So B in 2018.
Since 2016, she is in a relationship with the footballer, Kean Bryan with whom she has two children.
She has won the Jury Prize at the Overcome Film Festival and was nominated for the British Soap Award.
