New Emotional Avengers Poster Gives A Farewell To Captain America

As all the Marvel fans would know, Captain America has been the heart of the MCU. It had all started with Iron Man technically, but if one goes by the timeline, Captain America is had started off the wave. He is a just and righteous child from Brooklyn who attained superpowers and eventually became America’s super soldier and hero. Cap has also carried the entire MCU on his shoulders with Iron Man. These two superheroes have been leading the entire Avengers.

Chris Evans had very recently tweeted and thanked all his fans for their love and loyal support over the past 8 years. The actor is now done with all reshoots of the upcoming movie, Avengers 4. Chris Evans will no longer sport the star-spangled suit. The actor has wanted to move from this role and go on to direct a few movies. This is what Chris Evans had said regarding his contract:

“Well, you know, my contract is over, so that’s as far as I know. [I’ll miss] everything [about Captain America]. I mean, it’s not just the character, it’s the people – the experience, such good movies, such wonderful memories. I’ll miss a lot.”

Evans is a kind of person who does not want to stay in the spotlight for a long time. His long contract with the MCU has fetched the actor a whole lot of money and also and it had been with great anticipation that he had accepted Marvel’s proposal to start with. His long commitment is what had driven him away, but soon he had fought this fear and had gotten a personal call from Robert Downey Jr. He then signed up for the Captain America role, and the rest is history.

Evans had said,

“You want to get off the train before they push you off. I used to have thoughts of wanting to climb to the top of something or wanting to be somebody. But when you get the thing that you think you want and then you wake up and realize that you still have pockets of sadness and that your struggle will reinvent itself, you stop chasing after those things and it is liberating, because you realize that right here, right now, is exactly all I need.”

The actor’s recent tweet made all the fans wonder if this is a confirmation that his character will die in Avengers 4. We may see him and Iron Man passing the baton to a few new and younger heroes. We will see a new Captain America and a new Iron Man carry the Avengers ahead. Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange,  Ant-Man and Spider-Man will be seen forming the new super team of defense, and the likes of Hulk, Thor and  Black Widow might be sticking around.

As a tribute to this superhero, Boss Logic had released a poster for bidding farewell to Captain America:

Captain America will have a much bigger story arc in the upcoming movie,  Avengers 4 and this movie will bring in a story that the fans would have never expected. Infinity War’s co-writer, Christopher Markus had said that the fans will never be able to predict the plot of Avengers 4.

“[Avengers 4] doesn’t do what you think it does. It is a different movie than you think it is…Also…[the deaths are] real. I just want to tell you it’s real, and the sooner you accept that, the sooner you will be able to move on to the next stage of grief.”

Stephen McFeely had then added,

“Put it this way. I think [Infinity War] is a fairly mature movie for a blockbuster. It’s got a lot of fun in it, obviously, but boy, it gets very mature. The second one is also mature. We’re going to own these choices, and hopefully surprise and delight you and get you invested. It’s by the same studio, the same filmmaking team. They were written at the same time, shot at the same time. They’re clearly connected, but they are definitely two different movies, one of which is dependent on what happened previously.”

Avengers 4 will release on May 3, 2019.
