While we keep going back to the movies that form the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Evans is also doing the same. Just before the premiere of Avengers: Infinity War earlier this year, he dived into the Captain America history to share some rare images of his training for The Winter Soldier.
“In honor of Infinity War coming out next week, here are a few videos I found from 2013 while prepping for The Winter Soldier,” Evans tweeted.
In the first video, we see how Steve prepared for the battle with the brainwashed Bucky (Sebastian Stan) in Washington D.C. the subsequent footage was about Evans working on the fight choreography for the impressive elevator battle.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier was also the first time Joe and Anthony Russo joined the MCU. The brothers helmed the movie before going on to make Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and the still untitled Avengers 4.
Evans gave credit of the top notch stunt performance in the film to his co-star Frank Grillo (Crossbones).
“Anytime you do a fight scene with Frank Grillo, you are going home with bumps, and bruises and injuries,” he informed Variety. “It’s supposed to be movie fights. It’s supposed to be stunt fights. I would watch it happen. The stuntman would say, ‘OK, let’s map it out. 50 percent, 50 percent!’”
Evans is going to be seen in Avengers 4 after which he is going to exit the MCU.
“You want to get off the train before they push you off,” Evans said.
