‘Casting’ is something that only Marvel Studios gets it right. Ever since the actor, RDJ had been tasked with playing the role of Tony Stark, this studio gave all the fans the right actors for playing the Marvel superheroes. So, all the fans are super upset that Chris Evans is now done with the role of Captain America.

USA Today had shared an interview it had conducted with the director, Joe Russo. The creator had been asked about a previous tweet Evans made teasing his exit as Captain America, and Russo had the following to say:

“I think it was more emotional for him than it was us because he’s not done yet. I won’t explain what that means, but fans will soon understand what I’m talking about.”

Although Russo had refused to give more details on this statement, the tease has now gotten all the fans super curious as to what this director might mean. Many reports have been making their rounds about Chris Evans leaving MUC after the movie, Avengers 4 ends.

For all those who are unfamiliar, there was a tweet that Evans had tweeted as a farewell message:

“Officially wrapped on Avengers 4,” Evans had written.

“It was an emotional day, to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honour. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”

The post had sent all the fans worldwide into a frenzy, and this had prepared all the fans to say goodbye to Chris Evans. The actor had returned to social media to clarify this message was not a tease at Cap’s fate:

“I should clarify that I know I did tweet something that made a lot of people think that it was in some way a spoiler,” Evans had written.

“I should clarify that regardless of how Avengers 4 ends, I would have tweeted the exact same thing. That last day of filming was a very emotional day, and it was the culmination of almost 10 years of filming and 22 movies, this unbelievable tapestry.”

Now, it looks like there might be a lot more nuance to Chris Evans’ future in the MCU. Russo’s comments do not really confirm that the actor will make appearances in future Marvel movies. All the fans will now have to wait and see what this film has in store for them.

Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp are now available as a digital download as well as on Blu-ray and DVD. Upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.
