The Australian model and actress, Courtney Eaton was best known for her role as Cheedo the Fragile in the film, Mad Max: Fury Road and Zaya in the film, Gods of Egypt.
She was born on 6th January 1996 in Bunbury, Western Australia, Australia. She attended the Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School. Her father is Stephen Eaton who is an IT manager. She is of English, Maori, Cook Island Maori, Chinese descent.
She was discovered by the head of Vivien’s Models, Christine Fox when she was 11 and she was signed up with the company and began to take preparation to be a model at the age of 16. After that, she took an acting workshop with Myles Pollard.
She gave audition for the role of Sydney in the film, Mad Max: Fury Road but got the role of Cheedo the Fragile who was one of the five wives of Immorton Joe in the film. She became famous for her debut role and the film was released in 2015. That year, she appeared in the short video of R5: All Night. In 2016, she was cast in the role of Zaya who was a slave girl and love interest of one of the main characters along with Gerard Butler and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the fantasy action film, Gods of Egypt. She also played the role of Blake Beeson in the film, Newness in 2017. That year, she appeared in another short video of Angus & Julia Stone: Chateau. She was cast in the role of Charlotte in the film, Status Update and also played the role of Sarah in the film, Perfect. The following year, she appeared as Ava Brooks in the film, Line of Duty.
She hasn’t won any awards yet but was nominated for the Gold Derby Award in 2016.
