The Portuguese-American actress Daniela Ruah is better known for NCIS special agent KensiBlye’s role in the police procedural agent NCIS: Los Angeles and Merida’s role in the film Brave. She was born on 2nd December in 1983 in Boston, Massachusetts, in the U.S. Her mother is an otologist, and her father serves as an E.N.T. surgeon.
She is of Portuguese-Moroccan and Russian-Ukrainian descent. At the age of 18, Daniela moved to the U.K. and gained a bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from London Metropolitan University. Daniela took lessons from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
