American actress, director, model, and television personality Danielle Christine Fishel was born on 5th May 1981, in Mesa, Arizona. She started her acting career professionally at the age of ten, during which she earned many TV guest arrivals and commercials. She was initially a guest character on the show Boy Meets World, but Danielle subtracted a spark that the show needed and she became a formal cast member shortly afterward. She portrayed Topanga Lawrence on the show, the girlfriend of Cory Matthews.
The show brought her much attention even reaching her face on the lid of Seventeen magazine. She was elected as one of Teen People’s magazine hottest stars under the age of 21. She succeeded from high school in 1999.
She was a spokeswoman for Nutrisystem and is also a resident reporter on PopSugar and their spin-off YouTube channel, PopSugar Girls Guide. Fishel was on the lid of GQ’s hottest stars to watch in GQ’s 1997 October issue. She occurred in the music video for Until You Loved Me by Canadian music group The Moffatts.
Since Boy Meets World ended, she has occurred in various films, including National Lampoon’s Dorm Dazset. In the year 2006, she seemed in three made-for-DVD releases: National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze 2, the action film Gamebox 1.0, and The Chosen One, an independent animated film in which she gives the voice of the lead female character.
In 2013, though not released until 2015 Danielle featured in the drama Boiling Pot, which is based on true events of racism that occurred on college campuses across the country during the 2008 Presidential election. She portrays an average college girl, naive regarding racism and unaware of its existence. In October 2013, she was starred in Clapping for the Wrong Reasons. In the year 2014, Danielle reprised her character of Topanga Lawrence-Matthews in the Boy Meets World spin-off series, Girl Meets World.
On 22nd March 2018, Danielle and writer, producer, comedian Jensen Karp got engaged. They married on 4th November 2018. Together they have one child.
