The Canadian actress who is best known for her role as Taiana Venediktov in the television series Arrow and Betsy in the television series, Hellcats is none other than Elysia Rotaru.
She was born on 9th November in 1984 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. From an early age, she took lessons in dance and also involved herself in school plays. She earned a degree in Fine Arts in Theatre from Simon Fraser University.
She began her career in acting in 2008 with the television series, Psych in the role of Lantern Lady. From 2008-2010, she played the role of Elizabeth Bishop in the series, Smallville. She came to prominence after playing the role of Betsy in the series, Hellcats from 2010-2011. She also was cast as Shaylene Johnson in the series, Supernatural from 2012-2014. She played the role of Tess in the series, iZombie in 2015. She became famous for portraying the role of Taiana Venediktov in the television series Arrow to which she was attached from 2015-2016. She lent her voice as Sabine Wren in the Disney series, Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales in 2015. She also played the role of She-Hulk in the series, Marvel Super Hero Adventures in 2019. Her other television series are Eureka, Sanctuary, Fringe, Rush, Motive, Reapers, and others. She made her big-screen debut in 2011 with the film, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules as Ingrid. In 2016, she starred as Alicia in the film Dead Again in Tombstone. She also appeared in several short films including Crooked, Earthlickers, Run, Broken Masters, Amp, etc.
In 2018, she got married to Ryan Williams.
She has won the CAFF Award and was nominated for the Maverick Movie Award.
