The Avengers: Endgame trailer came out nearly a week ago, and it is already a massive event. The two and a half minute trailer has shattered most of the records, and it is obvious that it has led to the creation of memes.
Among what can be called the best fan material inspired by the trailer is the version of the trailer created by YouTube user Mightyracoon! where he has replaced all the characters such as Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), and Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) etc. with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool.
You can take a look at the complete video above, and it brings to us various rib-tickling moments that will make you laugh like crazy. The Merc with a Mouth didn’t forget to make fun of Fox’s decision to cast Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool on the big screen together.
The voice is provided by Dark Matter’s Mishka Thebaud, and it has an uncanny resemblance to Reynolds’ voice, and it makes us feel as if this iteration of Deadpool was lifted right from Fox’s Deadpool franchise.
Mightyracoon! has given us some great fan art pieces in the past, such as a 3D clip of Marvel’s superheroes and villains getting together to face off with their DC rivals.
Reynolds has technically three films as Wade Wilson to boast of, but, his future as Deadpool is now uncertain due to the Disney-Fox deal. Earlier when asked about the chances of a crossover between Wade Wilson and the Marvel’s Avengers, Reynolds appeared to be okay with the idea.
“That sounds like a great idea but a very expensive idea. Can you imagine the shit-talking contest with Iron Man? Oh, that would be great,” Reynolds said. “It would have to be rated R to completely unharness everybody. Unbridle the merriment and watch them go…”
Reynolds filmed new footage for Once Upon A Deadpool, a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 which is now running in theatres. Avengers: Infinity War is out on home video.
Future MCU films include Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, Avengers: Endgame on April 26, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.
