Puerto Rican television weather forecaster and journalist for Primer Impacto on Univision Jackie Guerrido was born on 24th September 1972.
Before Jackie worked in the media, she had revealed interest in other areas of work.
She was given a position on WSKQ’s morning show, El Vacilon de la Mañana, by a producer who heard her doing a voice-over. She soon earned an offer from WRMA in Miami, which she received.
She settled down in Miami and she persuaded the HBC Radio Company, after working at Romance for a year. There she was lent the chance to co-present a radio program with the duties of broadcasting news and traffic conditions. Ultimately, she was given her music show at WRTO (98.3). She also reached a job in television as a traffic correspondent for WSCV, Miami’s Telemundo affiliate, working for both the radio and television at the same time.
For many years, Jackie hosted the weather on Despierta America, which is one of the most prominent television programs among the Hispanic community in the USA. She also did the weather forecast for Univision’s afternoon newsmagazine show Primer Impacto.
In the year 2004, Jackie was called the Good Will Ambassador of the Puerto Rican Day Parade celebrated in New York City.
On 19th April 2008, Jackie wedded reggaeton singer Don Omar. In the year 2011, she was separated from her husband, Don. She is the mother of two teenagers.
In the year 2010, she participated in Mira Quien Baila!, a reality show, which vented on Univision in the United States.
In the year 2014, Jackie would characterize the role of a detective in the film AWOL-72.
