Karen Fukuhara is an American actress, best known for her roles as Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana in Suicide Squad and Kimiko Miyashiro/The Female on The Boys. She also voiced the character Glimmer in the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Kipo from Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts.
Fukuhara was born on February 10, 1992, in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Japanese, and she attended a Japanese language school for 11 years every Saturday morning. Her first language is also Japanese.

Fukuhara also has a younger brother. She is also trained in karate and has been taking karate lessons since middle school. She had achieved a brown belt by the time she left for college. Fukuhara attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
