The Canadian actress who is famous for playing the role of Tina Edison in the Canadian sitcom, Maniac Mansion and a homicide detective Hildy Mulligan in the TNT series, Murder in the First is none other than Kathleen Robertson.
She was born on 8th July in 1973 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She studied at Hillfield Strathallan College. She began to take acting classes at the age of 10 and appeared in several local theatre productions.
She made her acting debut in 1985 with the film, Left Out. After that, she played the role of Patrick in the film, Lapse of Memory in 1992. That year, she appeared in the television film, Quiet Killer in the role of Sara Dobbs. In 1997, she was cast in the black comedy, Nowhere. In 2001, she appeared in the parody film, Scary Movie 2. In 2011, she played the role of Leslie in the film, Losing Control. Her other films are The Vacation Tapes, Three Days in Havana, Down the Road Again, Last Exit, Until the Night, Dog Park, Blown Away, and many more. She made her first appearance in 1986 with the television series, The Campbells as Dorotha Spencer. She became famous for playing the role of Tina Edison in the Canadian sitcom, Maniac Mansion to which she was attached from 1990-1993. From 1994-1997, she played the role of Clare Arnold in the series, Beverly Hill, 90210. She also got fame being cast as Hildy Morgan in the series, Murder in the First from 2014-2016. She was nominated for an award for the series. Her other television series are The Fixer, Cracked, Boss, The Business, Medium, Heaven Help Us, Tin Man, and so on. She also pursued a career as a writer and wrote the drama film, Little Bee.
In 2004, she got married to producer, Chris Cowles with whom she has a child.
