Korpi finished 19th in her first appearance in 2003 at the World Junior Championships. The next year she placed 6th in Slovenia and took the bronze medal in Poland in her ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) debut. at the 2004 World Junior Championships, she was ranked 16th.
Korpi was placed 6th in Hungary before winning gold in Germany in the 2004-2005 JGP series. At the 2005 Finnish Championships, she was awarded the silver medal and was assigned to the 2005 European Championships, where she ranked 13th.
Korpi is quadrilingual in Finnish, English, Swedish & German
On 27 August 2015, at a press conference in Helsinki, Korpi announced her retirement from competitive skating. She is married to Arthur Borges Seppälä
