She later was cast in several TV series but she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for appearing in the miniseries, North and South in 1985. She was cast as Olivia Richards in the soap opera Sunset Beach in 1996. Her other television series are Bedtime Stories, Supernatural, Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, and others.

She was born on 17th March in 1954 in Wandsworth, London, England. She had gone through three failed marriages. With her second husband William Friedkin, she had a son. She also had a son with her third husband, Don E. Fauntleroy.
