She gained attention in the media by appearing in films Waking Life and Boyhood (both directed by her father), the latter playing the older sister to Ellar Coltrane’s Mason.
Her life suddenly came at a standstill from huge highs when she got charged with cocaine possession and DUI in Waco, Texas. For her crime she eventually decided to enter a guilty plea and henceforth was sentenced to three years’ probation in June 2017. Later on the DUI charge got dropped.
