The MCU movies have been the very reason for fame and glory for many of the actors like Hugh Jackman, Tom Holland and Chris Evans. A lot of the veteran actors like and Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch had already been well-known, but the MCU had suddenly taken their careers to greater heights. When all the fans watch these actors and actresses play the role of a superhero on the silver screen, they cannot really help but appreciate how fit and amazing they look. All these stars in the MCU have worked very hard to become this fit and play the roles of superhero characters from comic books. Here are10 Marvel stars who are tough in real life:

10. CHRIS EVANS

The Captain America star, Chris Evans did weightlifting and a lot of other body-building exercises for hours together every single day.

9. CHRIS PRATT

The man who plays Star-Lord, Chris Pratt had gone through a lot of intense workouts and a heavy diet to get into the role of Peter Quill.

8. CHRIS HEMSWORTH

For many months together, Chris Hemsworth used to do a lot of chest workouts, curls, kickboxing and cardio, to get into shape to play the role of Thor.

7. JOSH BROLIN

When he was cast in the film, Deadpool 2, he looked through a lot of pictures of Cable in the comics and had hard to earn the physical fitness of this villain.

6. TOM HOLLAND

Spider-Man star, Tom Holland used Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS), and this is a 20-minute workout where his body would be strapped to a machine which accomplishes 2 hours of training.

“Tom was already a pretty lean guy,” his trainer had said,

“so it was more about toning up so that he looked extra to fit in the suit.”

The Wolverine star had gone through a hell lot of intensive diets and extensive workouts.

4. AARON TAYLOR JOHNSON

Aaron Taylor Johnson, who plays the role of Quicksilver in the film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, had to lose muscle mass and focus on cardio and legs.

3. CHADWICK BOSEMAN

The Black Panther star,  Chadwick Boseman had to put on weight for as Jackie Robinson in 42 and so, for Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther, the actor did not have to spend time working on his fitness.

2. TESSA THOMPSON

Thompson had also taken her training to a new level while getting into the Valkyrie character in Thor: Ragnarok.

“I gained about 15 pounds of muscle mass,” she had said.

She had added:

“I like the idea that [a woman] can just be ripped like Valkyrie is in the comics. Yeah, I found that sort of essential, that not really caring about how I looked, but caring more about how I felt. I felt so strong, and in my skin.”

1. ANTHONY MACKIE

The Falcon star, Anthony Mackie, was keeping his fitness before he was cast in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

“Every now and then you take a role where you can eat po’boys and drink all day,” Mackie had said.

“I’m at that age now, mid-30s, where, if you put [weight] on, it’s most likely going to stay with you forever.”
