Her popularity increased so much that she hosted the afternoon show Colpo di Fulmine (Italia 1) in 1997.
Her first acting role came courtesy, Italian film director Vincenzo Verdecchi in the Italian TV Series La Forza dell’Amore (Canale 5). Then she took over a lead role in Fammi stare sotto al letto.
Her most recent work was as a host in the Sanremo Music Festival on Rai 1 with Claudio Baglioni and Pierfrancesco Favino. She married Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti in 1998 and separated from him in 2002. She is engaged to the Trussardi-heir Tomaso Trussardi and shares two children with him.
