The American actress who also worked as a director, singer, dancer, and musician and who is better known for her role as Detective Nina Cassady in the series Law & Order is none other than Milena Govich.
She took born on 29th October in 1976 in Norman, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Bruce Michael Govich and Marilyn Green Govich. Both of her parents were from a singing background. After completing graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue her acting career.
She made her acting debut with the Broadway production of Cabaret. After appearing in several Broadway productions, she made her on-screen debut with the television series Law & Order as Geneva. She became famous for playing the main role of Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order from 2006-2007/ her other television series are Finding Carter, Make It or Break It, Psych, The Defenders, and many more.
Her films are Sordid Things, Lucky Number, Pass the Light, etc. She was one of the eight filmmakers selected for competitive American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women. Her directorial upcoming short film is Unspeakable.
She got married to David Cornue in 2003.
Govich has won the Top Film Award at the Anthem Film Festival and Festival Award at Atlanta ShortsFest.
