She was born on 15^th August in 1974 in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. But she grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Her parents are Brian Henstridge and Helen Henstridge.

She first appeared on television in 1997 with the television series The Outer Limits. She played the role of Cassie McBain in the series, She Spies from 2002-2004. She got an award for appearing in the television mini-series, Would Be Kings in 2008. She also played the role of Taylor Wethersby in the series, Eli Stone from 2008-2009. Her other television series are Drop Dead Diva, The Secret Circle, Selfie, Diggstown, Shark, and many more.

From 1995-1996, she was married to American actor, Damian Chapa. She was in a relationship with Liam Waite from 1996-2004 with whom she has two sons. Later in 2011, she married Darius Campbell but got divorced in 2018.
