Born on December 12th, 1970, Regina Hall is an American actress who has made appearances in several television series throughout her career such as ‘Ally McBeal’ (2001 – 2002) and ‘Black Monday’ (2019 – present).
She has also appeared in films such as ‘The Best Man’ (1999), the ‘Scary Movie’ film series (2000 – 2006), ‘Think Like a Man’ (2012), ‘About Last Night’ (2014), ‘Vacation’ (2015), ‘Girls Trip’ (2017), ‘Support the Girls’ (2018), ‘The Hate U Give’ (2018) and ‘Little’ in 2019.

She won the ‘New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress’ for her performance in ‘Support the Girls’. She was the first African-American who won that award. Hall was born in Washington D.C., USA. She attended Immaculata College High School after which she joined Fordham University in the Bronx.

She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in English during that time, graduating in 1992. She also got a Master’s degree in journalism in 1997, from New York University. Her father died of a stroke during her first semester in graduate school. She stepped into the entertainment industry in 1992 in the soap opera ‘Loving’ but her role was too minor to gain any notice.

In 1997, Hall did her first television commercial which helped her acquire a minor role in ‘The Best Man’. Her appearance in the drama ‘New York Undercover’ gave her the necessary exposure in the industry.

Her portrayal of Brenda Meeks in the spoof comedy film series ‘Scary Movie’ became a pivotal point of her career, giving her the necessary breakthrough. She went on to appear in the drama ‘Ally McBeal’. She started acquiring lead roles in 2003, with films such as ‘Malibu’s Most Wanted’, ‘King’s Ransom’ and ‘The Honeymooners’.

She also played an X-Men in 2008. She went on to appear in several other movies and presently, she also works as a writer. It is not known whether Hall is dating someone but she appears to be single. She has a net worth of $4 million.
