Moreno won Grammy Award for The Electric Company’s soundtrack album in 1972, Tony Award as Best Featured Actress in a Musical for “The Ritz” in 1975. Roles in The Muppet Show (1976) and The Rockford Files (1974) gave her Emmy awards.

She has continued to work gracefully on Film and TV and stage. She was honored with the award of the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bush in 2004.

Moreno’s husband was a Cardiologist Leonard Gordon. He died in 2010. They have one daughter and two grandsons. Moreno had an affair with Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando.
